Doris Campbell (Dartmouth '21 via John Campbell and Smith in her own right) sends a most welcome postcard report: "The heat waves of July were certainLY the talk of everyone. I was envied because I was in Maine, but the records were broken there also. It was 95° in the shade with a furious land breeze. The ocean was the warmest for years. Since getting home I've been very busy calling on many of my church's members as I am the volunteer parish visitor."

Ort and Loie Hicks, decidedly '21, and Lucy Briggs ('21 via Ellis Briggs), are welcoming the beginning of their third year in Kendal-at-Hanover. All three have benefited from Kendal's care and report good health.

The death of Furber hLaight on April 28 this year meant the loss of one of the most loyal and active members of '21. His wife predeceased him, and he left no known kin. An obituary will be found elsewhere in the magazine.
