Hugh Hill has opened an art gallery in Kent, Conn., having closed his Brooklyn gallery in 1990 because it was getting too dangerous. His new gallery, the Hugh A. Hill Gallery, is in Kent Town Center on Route 7 and is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. It houses an eclectic collection including Haitian voodoo masks, story quilts telling African-American folk tales, photoportraits of Masai tribe members, and other works by artists from the New York area. Hugh also plans to sell furniture made by artists.
The gallery's hours allow Hugh time for writing. Since 1982 he has been writing plays, several of which have been performed in workshops and in readings. He has also made five short films and has worked as a television news writer. Hugh lives with his wife, Cynthia, son Kofi and daughter Arvolyn.

Two pieces of news, one from and one about Dick Glovsky. On behalf of the class, Dick has offered honorary membership to Assistant Dean of Students Susan Wright. This was done with the unanimous endorsement of the class officers and executive committee. Immediately upon her acceptance, Dick hit her up for class dues and an Alumni Fund contribution.
Dick himself was singled out for an honor by being chosen as a Hecht-Shaw award winner. This award honors those who have made a difference by improving the quality of urban life in Boston.
Unhappily I must close with the news of Peter Komanecky's death on October 2.
Remember the 25th Reunion, June 16-19, 1994. Take care and write.
