Brook Tolley Confort just missed last month's deadline with an incredible amount of information for me to decipher. Here it is in breakdown form ...

1. Wedding Gina Kunz and Dennis Podlesak (Western Illinois '79), November in Boston. Reception at Old Harvard Club. "There was definitely something fun about all of us Dartmouth people dancing around and having fun in the Crimson club!" Guests included Laura Murray Dobbin, CorinneHeyes, Ann MacAffer Johnson, SusanBurkhardt McIlhenny, Dana BurroughsKlinges (lawyer at Wolfe Blocke in Philadelphia and teaching law as well), Sherri CarrollOberg (consulting out of her home in Wellesley, Mass.), Sheila Kay Cooper (fulltime mother and parttime Texas state treasury worker), and Paula Vaune DuganBrooks, who has her own architectural firm in Manchester, N.H.

2. Baby Shower in the Big Apple, for Crashy Zacher Brown and husband Clint, who are proud parents of daughter Perrin. Guests included Dr. Libbet WatermanMcKeon (internist at Montifiore Hospital), Gray Reisfield Horan (a fulltime mom with two sons and parttime freelance writer whose credits include Architectural Digest and the New York Times Magazine), and MaryThomson Renner. Mary is running her own national baby clothing company, "Blimpers," out of her home in Boston. Between cocktails, Brook and Mary put their heads together and came up with a plan to produce a video for our Tenth Reunion. Yours truly has been induced to assist, so you know it will be cleverly stupid. Time is running out, so if you have any videos or photos you have taken since graduation that you'd like to see on the big screen, please forward them to Maty or me.

3. Dartmouth-Princeton Tailgate an Ivy- League coronation. Faces in the crowd: the always-active Emily Bakemeier; Ralph Mc-Devitt, wife Tink, and their three daughters; Bill "Whizzer" White; and Sally AdnopozGendler, husband Steve, and daughter Abigail. Sally is a manager for Discovery Toys and works out of her home in Philadelphia. Emily Bakemeier "is getting married in late spring but is planning her wedding around Reunion so she won't miss it."

I also got a complete rundown from Scottand Karen Kegris Hacker. It seems that when last we heard from them back in 1984 they had just tied the knot. They both attended Columbia University, and . . . "Scott got his Ph.D. in organic chemistry in 1987, and I received my law degree in 1986. Since Scott's completion of grad school, he has been at Allied Signal Inc. in Morristown, N.J., where he is currently a senior research chemist. I am now working part-time at Columbia Law School as managing editor of the American Review of International Arbitration.

"The news I'm really writing about is that on April 4, 1992, our daughter Caroline was born. Scott and I realize that we've essentially lived in N.Y.C. for ten years now—pretty astonishing for Scott, I think, who grew up in Emmons, Minn., population 412. (That was then. Now it's up to 450.)

"We're lucky right now because one of our closest friends, Marie Connoly, is living in N.Y.C. for about eight months for a commercial lending training program sponsored by her employer, Chase Manhattan Bank." Thanks to Brook and Karen for the complete

updates. But it's time again to put some faces with these names, so please get those videos and photos to Mary or me. We promise they'll be returned—with appropriate commentary. Mary's at 34 Commonwealth Ave. #2, Boston, MA 02116, or call her at (617) 247-0949. Let's fill those mailboxes and embarrass our friends. See ya!
