Another name can be added to the list of hippie classmates. In March Red Sanborn was recuperating from a successful hip operation. His only regret was that this winter's snow might not last long enough for him to get out on the slopes. He said that his grandson Eagle Glassheim '92, one of our class scholars reported on previously, had graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, the works. He is now in Germany studying the language in preparation for his pursuit of a Ph.D. in history. Apparently a thorough grounding in German is necessary for the purpose. Red's granddaughter Pamela Lombard '90 is in Tojo, Africa, with the Peace Corps.

Jerry Sass reports that all final arrangements "have been successfully completed for our 65 th Reunion June 25-27. Remember, there are no reunion fees! Our reunion discretionary cash deposits are covered 100 percent. He suggests you bring your senior cane and any interesting snapshots of family and friends, and don't forget your vitamins and any medications you may need. Pack informal clothes for a relaxed visit with old friends. If you have questions or a problem, call Jerry (collect) at (310) 377-8090, and he will go the extra mile to help. Remember, the reunion will be successful only if you are there.

I regret to inform you that Jerry Sloane died on January 28, and class vice president Larry Martin died on February 2 8 after a long illness.
