Dartmouth Night (Home coming) with the parade, ceremony in front of Dartmouth Hall, bonfire, and hot cider and donuts at Blunt Alumni Center, lived up to a great tradition. Spirits were high with the prediction of a football victory over Yale.

We have received news of Dr. "Pinky"and Ruth Flannery's 65th wedding anniversary. He is still a practicing physician, and they have both contributed greatly to their community. Their activities and awards are too numerous to record here, but we are indeed proud to have the Flannerys in the '29 family. Newcastle, Penn., is fortunate to have had their dedicated service for these many years.

Eilie Cavanagh's son Jim '51 ('29 class Baby) reminisces about growing up in Hanover on Lyme Road across from the ski jump. The house is still there, but the jump and the neighboring cornfields are gone.

The condominium village where we live is popular with '29ers. Petie and Frank Foster, Katie and Dick Black, Ruth Brittan, and the Ripleys all call it home, along with many other Dartmouth graduates.

There are three deaths to report: JohnBogar, Walter Sherwood, and WilliamCondon, M.D. We extend our sympathy to their wives and families.

We end with another of Rip's verses: If thoughts I write are not my own I make no bid for fame or credit, But hope the truth is better known Because of some new way I've said it. But then again, I can't be sure I haven't made the thoughts obscure.
