We are counting downless than three months to the 65th in June! As a class we are hoping for a record return to Hanover. Our hard-working president, Charlie Dudley, along with other duties, now arranges for speakers, mostly from the College, for the weekly Kaffee Klatch at Kendal in Hanover, which is now home to many Dartmouth retirees.
John Thompson, who spent his working years with telephone companies, reports he has no health problems and enjoys golf several times a week. He has signed up for a tour of Greece and Turkey in July.
Isobel and Bill Davenport celebrated their 55 th anniversary last October, and they are both cancer survivors. Two days a week they work as hospital volunteers.
Stella and Dwight Allen are living in Lacey, Wash., where they enjoy the magnificent scenery, snow-capped mountains, and much unoccupied land with groves of evergreens. During their daily walk they thrive on the long blooming season.
Rip enjoys the many fine supermarkets in our area, and as an a propos he wrote this: I wish that I were man enough To scorn this triple-coupon stuff. Or strong enough so I won't see When ads say,' Buy one—get one free.' Now at the store, I'm really gypped When I forget the ones I've clipped.
