We are still savouring a successful and happy 65th which brought back so many memories. For me, the first '29 reunion I attended was the delayed 15th in 1946. We were on our honeymoon, and Dartmouth was a part of it.

I had barely been introduced to an American way of life, and a college campus was entirely new to me. Some of the classmates had made plans to "kidnap" me, and somehow John Dickey found out about it and put his foot down—"No way! You will frighten her right back to Norway!" John and I spoke of it years later, and both wondered what my reaction would have been.

At those early reunions there was always live music in the class tent, a piano, and several classmates brought instruments. There was dancing, both on the floor and tables! Late nights and still early mornings!

Then, years later when we brought children, we fondly remember John Brown Cook entertaining them with his fabulous magic.

Those of us who now live in the Hanover area feel very fortunate, and when anyone connected with the class comes for a visit, we love to see them.

Football season is upon us, and the team loves the "Go Dartmouth!" from loyal fans in the stands.

Rip adds his wisdom to my ramblings. Think ye, with our poor bounds of time and space, That God can't hear each prayer and know each face?
