We were reading and hearing everywhere, "Only three more shopping days till Christmas." Too much! And we have not missed that at all.

As usual the tree in the middle of the Green—then white—looked beautiful with its multicolored lights and bright, shining star. Hanover is a festive-looking place with stores and streets decorated with greeneries and lights during the dark winter months.

Evelyn Stacey wrote that Ben died October 5 in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. He was active in the Dartmouth Club of Cape Cod and also as an agent for Tuck School. Evelyn will continue to live at Thirwood Place, where they have been for some years.
