This is being written in September to meet the deadline for the December issue, so will not have any news about the October reunion. Dero Saunders has sent a copy of a card from Ed Mitchell giving some details about the "horrendous experience" he and Dorie had on their trip to Hawaii; the bottom line is that their delays at airports in Dayton, Atlanta, Dallas and Honolulu totaled 11 1/2 hours. They're still planning "a long West Indian cruise Oct. 11, therefore we shall miss our visit with you in London—and also our fall reunion."
In case you haven't heard, Yank Price has a new address: 30 Pinewood Village, West Lebanon, NH 03784-3120; it appears that this is close to the old address, which was 7 Pinewood Village.
Newt Hamblet writes "Nothing newhappily still both feeling well—an infrequent par is usually followed by a double or triple bogey. Six kids, seven grandchildren, retired '85." (His golf game sounds like mine, but I have him licked on the grandchildren score—ten for me, and seven "greats" with two more on the way.)
Dero also said that the names of Ofayand Julie Allen and Bet Hilli (Paul's widow) were inadvertently left off of the list of those who attended our 60th Reunion; presumably the corrections have been made by the Office of Alumni Records.
Two deaths were reported in August; Edmond Freeman and Sidney Simons. Your secretary would appreciate any input you could send for obituaries in a future issue. , „
