With holiday greetings Ed Maas sent a suggestion for seeking the whereabouts of two of those 52 missing classmates I am pursuing.I shall report progress if any. Meanwhile, John H. Chamberlin is helping on a third prospect. How about more leads from you out there?

Hal Smith '33 wrote that he was saddened to read Lee Andrews's obituary because Lee and Morrison "Red" Tucker '32 had been his apartmentmates in Washington before Hal was transferred to the Philadelphia U.S. Mint circa 1934. Hal joined a motley crew including Pete Evans, John Chamberlin, Herm Schneebeli '30, assorted Harvards, Princetons, Wisconsins, Ohio U's, and myself in apartment and house renting in Philadelphia and Swarthmore in the mid and late thirties. We were often favored at the household food table by the presence of Vance Dickerman, who returned the favor by smuggling one or more of us into a free dinner given at the Benjamin Franklin Hotel by some corporate sales meeting. Hal asked me to say hello to Vance. He also wrote that Lee was a great friend, so quiet and unassuming, and asked if I remembered Lee's finishing a 4 x 400 relay in only one shoe.

Most welcome were other holiday greetings from Lucy Cogswell, Ruth Slaughter, Art Spiegel, Ed Brummer, Charlie Hill, Mildred and Bob Powell, Libby and Vance Dickerman, Ellen and John Chamberlin, Ori Hobbs, Spence Miller, Alice Loveland, and Connie and Chas O'Neill.

Wally Thorsen's daughter Karen graciously supplied information needed for Wally's obituary. Anne and George Con Klin helped by locating Karen's mother's telephone number. Karen also reported that her mother was recovering from Wally's loss.

From the Bridgeport contingent, Bill Wendell reported he's taking a lot of kidding about Dartmouth football; and the names of Democrat presidential candidates for 1996 were proposed by Connie and Chas O'Neill. Any suggestions from the Opposition?

Thirty-one progeny making news include grandson Jonathan Cogswell in a touring production of Camelot; class son Denis O'Neill wrote the script for The River Wild, and grandson Patrick Goodwillie made All American linebacker in Division 1-AA.
