Our honorary classmate, Caroline McDonough, ever faithful supporter, reports that by March 2,49 to 50 were interested in coming to our reunion. That's more than any class in Dartmouth history for the 7Oth, and the College's David Orr proudly told Caroline that it will be a great one. Right he is. Caroline and Ken's "numerous" grandchildren are on the list. Thanks for telling us! Secretary hopes to bring seven.

Treasurer Ellie Norxis says she's all moved in and workmen are finishing their work on her new house. She is elated that for the second year she has been awarded the distinction of Citizen of the Year. Bully! Nine of her family were with her for the celebration, from Washington state, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York state. The Mt. Sunapee-Kearsarge Intercommunity Theater, of which Ellie is president, is putting on Face on the BarroomFloor in Wilmot Center, proceeds going to its library. Ellie's niece Cathy came to spend the day and see the play.

A friend invited Ellie to Venice, Fla., for a week. She saw Ginny Newman. Ellie admires Ginny's vitality and all that she does for the disadvantaged. In June Ellie goes to San Diego. She is delighted to attend the 60th anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous as an honored guest.

Mari Lyman, widow of Donald Lyman, has moved to an assisted-living home. Mari says she is doing fine and is legally blind. Correction: the track at which a plaque was placed honoring E.K. Hall for his dedication to "the highest ideals of team play and sportsmanship" is at Vermont Academy, not at the College.

We lament deeply the tragic death of ScottLowry, as reported in an obituary we received. He died in a fire in his home at the end of October 1992, as reported recently by Scott V. Lowry of Waukesha, Wise. Our Scott's wife, Janet, is a resident of the Wisconsin Masonic Home in Dousman, Wise.
