Our diligent treasurer, Jack Zellers, reports that dues for the year were received from 89 classmates and widows enabling him to send the Alumni Magazine to 127 surviving classmates and widows with a few hundred left over to add to our resources. He plans to limit the number of recipients of the Mag in the future to those who indicate continued interest by contributions to the Alumni Fund and payment of the class dues.
Jerry Sass, our 70th Reunion chairman, requires information from all of us who expect to attend the reunion scheduled for June 26, 27, 28 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), 1998, at the Hanover Inn. He must have this information well in advance in order to make reservations and arrange financing.
Remember, all hotel charges for classmates and accompanying family members will be paid for.
Please note that the telephone number in the class directory is now Jerry's fax number. His new telephone number is (310) 377-7511.
Jerry reports that Ted Baehr, who had been visiting his children in California, is now back home in Oyster Bay. He says, also, that in attempting to call Ellie andNellie Jones at their home in Sun City, Ariz., he found that their phone had been disconnected.
He would appreciate hearing from any-one who knows how to get in touch with them.
Fortunately, no obits to write this month.
