Here is a tip from alumni traveling north and south on 1-91 to Hanover or points south. For many years '37 classmates driving north to mini's or class meetings rendezvoused at The Putney Inn, in Putney, Vt., for lunch. Included were classmates RogAllen and Charlie Blaisdell. Carolyn and I were driving to Pennsylvania a few weeks ago and decided to have lunch at the Putney Inn. It is a most delightful inn with beautiful decor, pleasant and courteous staff, and most of all, excellent food. The lobster salad sandwich with corn and smoked cheddar chowder and Indian pudding were so delicious we will surely stop again.
