Since you have given me the privilege of serving you in a dual capacity, I apologize for the duplicity in reporting Class Notes and progress in my Reunion efforts, but I do want to create attendance interest for June 15-17, which will make for an unforgettable meeting of '38ers!

I By now you should have received my second reunion letter along with a copy of the program and an attendance list. I will be updating attendance in my upcoming columns. As of December 28 we are on target assuming that the "Yeses" remain firm...And there should be approximately ten more classmates who should be able to find their way to Hanover.

Again, I regret to report the passing of four more classmates Lew Moorman, Tom Chapman, Bill Watson, and Bob Faegre bringing the total for the year to 22.

Received a nice note from Johnny Nassiskas, who resides in McLean, Va., and who still practices law there. From his latest curriculum vitae it is clear that he has had an interesting life full of many challenges...He and Deena will be with us in June. Bob Harvey writes telling of the passing of Red Boutilier's wife, Marguerite, and that Lou Frick was hospitalized with another of the strokes that from time to time have laid him low. Lou was hoping to be home for Thanksgiving! Dick Holt called inviting me to the Hartford's Dartmouth club's winter meeting with head football coach, John Lyons, as the featured speaker unfortunately, I had a previous commitment.

Talk about your coincidences...Dwight Parkinson is to be a guest speaker at the 49th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery to be held in Hanover on June 12-16..."I have already accepted, but I shall do my utmost to be back to our Hanover before the reunion is finished."

Credit Herman Endler from Encino, Calif., for the following..."The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop on what day, or what hour. Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will. Don't wait until tomorrow the hands may then be still!"

Please...I need to know what you and yours have been up to!
