Thirty-eight did indeed have its '94 mini-reunion as scheduled, with perfect weather for the football game with Penn, which we should have won. Twenty of your classmates and 14 wives enjoyed a fast-paced one-day gettogether. We started with a tour of the new Collis Center, followed by our annual tailgate luncheon in the Faculty Lounge. After the game we joined hands at the Outing Club for cocktails and dinner and to listen to a truly interesting message from Stan Colla '66, vice president of development and alumni affairs. From his detailed and interesting remarks about the happenings in Hanover, it is apparent that Dartmouth is in good hands now and for the years ahead.

Everyone wanted a repeat performance for next year. So mark your calendars now for Saturday, September 30, 1995, and a game with Cornell.

From those who were unable to join us: Walt Dunlap and John Adams told of arthritic problems. Fran Reilly was attending a Naval Order conference on the West Coast. Bob Ross was in Germantown, Ohio, attending his 60th high school reunion. Russ Tolles was scheduled for heart reconditioning. Runnie Colie was in the Midwest taking part in a sailboat regatta. Ev Wood had a date with roommate Dave Bradley for a week of sailing and lobster eating on Penobscot Bay in Maine. Gil Small was marrying off one of his sons in Newport, R.I. He also told of a June family reunion in Irma, Alberta, Canada, and coming home by way of a month-long visit with another son in Austin, Texas.

Stepping aside from the news for a moment, I am sorry to report the passing of HerbHarries.

Now for an update on Bud Wall's move to Florida. Dick Holt, once again on the move, bought Bud's condo in Bloomfield, Conn., and Bud is now condoed in Bonita Springs, Fla., the winter home of Ben WalHey.

And as I finish this, my last column for 1994, Jean and I extend to you all our sincere wishes that all your Christmases be white and you enjoy all the good things during the coming year.
