The class contributes to the Athletic Sponsor Program. We have been informed by the College that our contributions helped make possible the campus recruiting trip of Robert Reeves IV of Garden City, N.Y. Bob's sport is football—offensive line. He has been admitted to Dartmouth and joins the class of 2003.
In response to the class birthday card, Rowl Hall wrote, "I celebrated my 83 rd by flying my small plane to a field some 60 miles distant and had breakfast with a few aerial geezers." Great going, Rowl there are some of us who can't get on the plane.
Bud Hewitt celebrated his 80th in July. He replied to the class birthday card "Long time since our Lord & Taylor days (we started July 1, 1940) and the precious memories you derived therefrom." His last time in Hanover was for our 50th. Bud hoped he and Louise can make our 60th. 60th Reunion June 12 to 14, 2000.

Joyce and Brownie Browne's first great-grandchild was born July 10, 1999. We had a pleasant lunch with the Brownes shortly afterwards and shared all the good news.
