Lily Grove offered some notes about husband TomGrove. A captain with Delta Airlines, Tom has recently started flying the 767 to Europe out of New York's JFK Airport. Tom and Lily live in Alexandria, Va. Tom commutes from Washington (Reagan) National Airport. Prior to his recent assignment, Tom was based in Salt Lake City where he was a check pilot training other pilots on the 767 aircraft (when he was not skiing or playing golf). In January Lily arranged a celebration complete with "This Is Your Life" guests and video clips recognizing Tom's 25 years with Delta Airlines,

Sam Ostrow wrote that the New York mini-reunion and class-wide executive committees are set for Saturday, May 22. The class has a block of great seats for the Mets-Phillies game at 1:40 p.m., followed by dinner, with chartered buses to take us from the stadium to dinner (place to be determined, probably on City Island). The executive committee meeting, to which all class members, wives, children, and significant others are encouraged to attend, will immediately precede dinner. HowardSharfstein and/or Jim Peck are handling arrangements, for which they are due much thanks. Further information will be mailed and posted on the web site, but classmates can e-mail requests to or .

Sam Ostrow commented the January Boston mini-reunion was fabulous. Probably 20 or more classmates, with BillSjogren, John Manaras, and Tom Pyles doing the yeomen's share, and great visits with Duncan Ballantyne, Bill White,Rich Paolino, Drew Ley, Ted Neill,Mickey Beard, Bill Bogardus, BillAdams, Paul Killebrew, Peter Rosser, and others (Sam noted having a senior moment blocking on the names). The affection that has grown among these guys who have now done this so long is wonderful. Peter Rosser won the squash tournament (again), beating himself (no further comments needed).

In February at the New York area miniexecutive committee meeting at Howard Sharfstein's office, classmates were awestruck as the news of the changes in the Dartmouth fraternity system.

Shaking their heads were Don Klein (new publisher of a new magazine for Mercedes owners), Bill Yaggy, JackHarris (with a new investment management firm in New York Reinders, Gray Co. Inc.), Howard Sharfstein, Jim Peck, and Sam Ostrow. Any other reactions to note?
