Our 35th Reunion is now only a few short weeks away and chairman Mike Bettmann and his team are putting the finishing touches on what should be a memorable and exciting time for all. If you are the last-minute type, we encourage you to make every effort to attend—do not assume that it is too late. Although we anticipate a very large turnout and therefore a tight room situation, where there is a will there is a way! So come on up to Hanover at a beautiful time of year and renew old acquaintances. You will be glad you did!
A reminder that Hank Amon, RussCarson and Chip Hayes, as 35th Reunion Giving chairs, are working hard to assure that our class achieves its Alumni Fund goal of $1,065,000. It should again be noted that all giving to Dartmouth during the Alumni Fund year beginning July 1, 1999, through June 30, 2000, will count toward the class of 1965 reunion giving effort. They are making great progress toward the goal but need your help. So, if you have not already done so, please consider a generous contribution in this special class reunion year.

The article goes on to relate that "Dr. Bullock is nationally recognized for his work as a forensic ophthalmologist in trauma to the eye and its surrounding tissue, the orbit," according to Daniel T. Organisciak, chair of the school of medicine's faculty development committee. After Dartmouth John earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and then completed his residency in ophthalmology at Yale University. After fellowships at the University of California-San Francisco, Stanford University and the Mayo Clinic, in 1975 he opened his private practice in Dayton and joined the faculty of the Wright School of Medicine.
