1995

This one is going to be another short one. However, I have ever confidence that you all will write in with your news from Reunion.

Rose Hughes wrote with news about herself and some of our fellow '95s. First, she says that after Dartmouth, she spent four years at SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan, N.Y. She graduated in May of 1999 and is now doing a residency in pediatric optometry at the University Optometric Center, affiliated with SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan. According to Rose, the residency program is one year long and when she is done she hopes to teach, on the clinical level, as well as enter into private practice.

Rose also had some information on '95s with whom she has kept in touch since graduation. Elisabeth (Smith) Parrott recently married Robert Parrott '96. And in November Elisabeth gave birth to a baby girl, Hannah Margaret Hedwig. Rose writes that Rob and Elisabeth both work for Dartmouth and the family lives in Hanover, N.H. Aviva (Bender) Siegel married Daniel Siegel in Denver, Colo., in August of 1999. Dan is an M.D. in Denver and Aviva will graduate from law school this spring. Rose writes that Aviva is expecting a baby girl! Alison (Fast) Pease married JeffreyPease in May of 1999 in Rollins Chapel. They live near Hartford, Conn. Rose was not sure what Jeff was doing, but Alison is doing her residency in pediatrics. She graduated from medical school in May of 1999.

Cathy Kim also wrote me to say that she is back in Boston, Mass., after a year in New York City. She is currently working as a product marketing manager at Fair Market, a Web company that "powers dynamic pricing solutions for MSN, Excite, Lycos and other big Web sites."
