Sometimes it's better to be short and sweet. And, this is one of those times, as I peek over the top of piles on my desk and juggle preparations for time off this Fourth of July week!

Our part-time writer, part-time stringer Lynn Hollenbeck reports that Jeff Soinski is now president and CEO of Specialized Health Products International, which manufactures medical safety needles. Who'd have imagined that Jeff, formerly with Mad Dogs and Englishmen in NYC, could now be found in Salt Lake City, Utah! He and his beautiful wife, Stacey, Jake (6), Salyor (5) and Sutton (born this past March) moved into a 1911 house in the Federal Heights section of SLC. When he's not out driving his company toward market (world?) dominance Jeff and fam get out to enjoy all the beautiful skiing Utah offers.

Jim Slaby weds Heather Howland. After traveling in Bali, Indonesia, they're back living and working in the Boston area, where Jim is a senior industry analyst at Giga Information Group.

A Bar Harbor Times article recently made its way to me, giving insight into the travels of Jim Nadeau since graduation. Jim went on to study for five years in Rome, at the Gregorian University, received two graduate degrees and was ordained as a priest. Father Jim is now rector of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine.

Recently appointed director of equal opportunity and affirmative action at our very own Dartmouth College: Michelle Meyers. Michelle is responsible for guiding the Colleges diversity and equity effort in recruitment and retention of faculty and staff. So the other day, I met someone who went to North Andover High School—graduated in 1979. Of course I had to ask if he knew Willis. "Whyyes, I know Paul Willis! Hows he doing? Doesn't he teach in Andover?" I have to say, "Yup, I think so, I'm not sure...l think he lives somewhere on the North Shore...and hmm I don't know."
