Dear classmates: When I am faced with writing the column, yet lack any hard factual news...l pull out my handy crystal ball, peer hopelessly at my reflection, and begin to write.

Ah! One clear message. I see that Wellstar Health System has announced Dr. Jeffrey Tharp as a member of the Wellstar regional health board. And another...when Ken is on the prowl for news, it sure does magically appear. According to The DallasMorning News, David Stern has distinguished himself amongst his congregation as "popular and beloved...wise beyond his years." David stepped in two years ago as rabbi at Temple Emmanu-El. And, while I can't say exactly what she's up to, TinaPoulter has landed herself in Boston, Mass.! Working for someplace I can't exactly make out...NLRB? Steve Hart is working under his own name at Hart Associates Architects in Arlington, Mass. Living in Concord with wife Jennifer. The building boom in the Boston area is keeping Richie Walsh and Joe Breen busy with Walsh Brothers Inc.

Hmmm. Things are getting a little fuzzy, but here goes. Tom Herold is influencing the lives and development of today's youths. He and his wife, Jane, are in Culver, Ind., and Tom is teaching at Culver Academies. It appears that Paul Willis is also teaching—at Andover High School. And just down the road, Jim Ventre is at Phillips Academy. It looks like Jo TaplinRomeyn is in Portland, Maine, with her husband, Peter and...two kids. Jo is practicing at the Maine Medical Center. I think that's Francie Blynn Baxter in Evanston, Ill., busy at work with the Roommate & Apartment Network. Kathy Hoy Burgess (now Ph.D.) seems to be at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash.

Bob Dell Isola and Debbie may be in Maine...with Liberty Mutual Insurance. Living in Acton, Mass., and working for Carnation Management Corp., it looks like Bill Kouchalakos. Hey. A pretty clear message...from "the other big bank." With the Fleet-BankBoston merger, Frank Davis is urging all who are disillusioned by die new huge conglomerate to consider USTrust. Ronald Brody has joined one of the nation's largest international law firms- Mayer, Brown & Piatt, N.Y.

And finally, an announcement from NickRoberts, who will have ended his wellguarded bachelorhood by the time you read this. It is Kathy Pattison and her kids who have successfully lured Nick away from a life of Sports Center and dreams for a Red Sox return. Many happy years to Nick and any other newlywed classmates this spring.

Hope to hear about some of our long-lost classmates, like Matt Liddle, or MattJurkoic. How about Jamie Orr? CarolSonnenfeld, or Adrianne Link? Drop a line, e-mail, or fax to either Ken or me.
