Bing Donaldson is our new class agent, and we all wish him well in this time-consuming but rewarding activity as he succeeds Bud Kast, who steered the ship so ably for many years. (Bing, who ran a profitable laundry service as an undergraduate, knows how to collect the chits!) I'm indebted to Jim Stewart and George Shimizu for personal pics from our 60th—thanks, guys. Jim's Bema shots in the rain are particularly memorable as the South Fayerweather gang hung in to the end. I recently talked to Bob Grant, who, with wife Jean, uncharacteristically missed the 60th. A victim of vertigo following an inner ear infection, he has been unable to travel but is hoping to be in Hanover for our fall mini. I recendy received a note from Don Burnham '44 in which he.summarized the track accomplishments of our late classmate, Bob Williams. 1942 ICUA 1,000-yard champion, 1942 heptagonal 880-yard champion, 1942 Penn Relays 2-mile relay champion. Don also talks of Paul Hanlon's trackachievements. While in Cincinnati last July, Louise and I attended a Riverbend Pops concert, where Eric Kunzel put in this pitch for one of his guest soloist's: "Buy this man's CD so his kid can afford to go to Dartmouth!" Con Young wrote last June about our 2001 Panamanian trip, which he and his wife, Muriel, had so enjoyed and specifically about getting reacquainted with Rog Gaskill, Con having just heard from Rog's daughter about his death. Several months ago I received a note from a lady who has a 1943 Aegis she would like to sell: her name, Edith Ackerman, 4 Woodland Terrace, Fairlee, VT 05045; (802) 333-4457, for anyone interested. One '43 still very active in the business world, Bill Seidman, has recently taken on a new assignment as a board of advisors member of Sageworks Inc., a financial software company. Two classmates deaths to report: Raymond A. Schroth, May 2, and Robert G. Clark, May 10, 2001. Our condolences to their families. Stay well!
