This Class Notes is brought to you, in significant part, by "tattling" family members and by Rebecca Liddicoat. First, Katie Rich, John Rich's younger sister, wrote to say that John and his wife, Amanda, have left the East Coast for the City of Angels, Los Angeles, California, so that John can attend UCLA's Anderson School. Katie says that John is adjusting well to academic life. He has been dubbed "Happy Salmon" (attributable to a certain article of pink clothing) and, alternatively, "Mountain Man" (attributable to frequent lapses in shaving). Both nicknames bring high accolades from sister Katie. And Bob Murphy, Cory Murphy's dad, wrote to disclose Cory's engagement to Eric Christensen, "a great guy (despite being a Cornellian)." Cory and Eric met while she was in graduate school at Cornell and he was teaching at the veterinaiy school. Cory works for Honeywell International in Morristown, New Jersey. The couple plan to get married in or near Hanover in the fall of 2004.

Daisy (Alpert) Florin wrote to say that she and her husband, Kenneth Florin, are the happy parents of Samuel Henry, born on July 6, 2003, in New York City. In addition to adjusting to motherhood, Daisy obtained a masters degree in American studies from Columbia University in May and completed a master's program in early childhood and elementary education at Bank Street College in June. At this time, Daisy says that she is savoring being a stay-at-home mom. She and Sam spend time with India Fisher Jones, the daughter of Emily Abernathy-Jones and Dave Jones, who was born on July 1, 2003.

Rebecca Liddicoat send me a host of news about the '95s whom she has kept in touch with or recently seen. She writes that Katie Hughes Laffy ran the October Bay State Marathon in 3:37 minutes to qualify for the coming April Boston Marathon. Rebecca biked along the path with Katie, helping to time her and, of course, to cheer heron. When she's not training, Katie is teaching at the Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and lives in Salem, New Hampshire, with her husband, Phil. As of the writing of this Class Notes, Liz Lynn Albert was expecting a baby on November 10. She and her husband, Mark, bought a house in Sudbury, Massachusetts, where Liz is currently working as director of Drumland Farms' summer camp program. Rebecca regularly sees Gigi Widham, who is working for Goldman Sachs. At a recent tailgate party, organized by Eisje (Carbone) Eisenhauer, Rebecca saw Sara Malloy Millett with her baby girl. Sara lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, is expecting her second child and is finishing a master's in education. Eric Eisenhauer is working in ob/gyn at Massachusetts General Hospital and will be working in gynecologic oncology next year. Elsje works at Akamai in Cambridge. Rebecca also caught up with Susie Cashion Robinson, who finished a year as chief resident at Brown University. Susie is now in private practice as a pediatrician in Cambridge while her husband, Dave, is a student at Harvard Business School. Rebecca saw Brittany Boulanger who is doing a chief year in the pediatrics residency program in Rochester, New York. Brittany will be living in Zurich, Switzerland, for six months where her husband will be doing a fellowship in orthopedics. Rebecca says that this summer Allison Krasnow completed the Ironman Triathlon in Lake Placid, New York, to raise money for Team in Training. Michale Glennon, who lives in Lake Placid now, was Allison's cheerleader during the race. Michale is working for the Wildlife Conservation Society located in Lake Placid. As for Rebecca, herself, she is doing a general medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. She finished her internal medicine residency at Boston Medical Center in June and lives in Beacon Hill, in Boston.
