The dam has been broken! Up to now I have been complaining that I get no news to cover in my bimonthly write up. However, in the last issue of Peter Cardozo's outstanding epic 39 Out, they included the cards to the secretary. I am happy to report that more than 15 cards have been received since then. Several included special plaudits for Peter, and I hasten to tell you that copies of these were sent to him. I try to acknowledge the cards myself.

Heard from Ev Woodman, who is beset by all the problems we all share but hopes to make the 60th anniversary of the Normandy beach landings June 6. Dick Bauldauf writes that he and Sue still split the year between Englewood, Florida, and Mashpee on Cape Cod. Mike Ellis and Betty are still doing many things to make the world a better place for us all. I personally hope we can induce him to perform some more of his magic for us next fall as they plan to be there. George Hanna and I share the same problem of trying to get a grandson installed in Hanover. He is back in Keene for the summer and urges all to attend the 65th in October. Gordon King proves that we are a virile group still by getting married to Esther from Brockton, Massachusetts, on November 29, 2003, with his three sons standing up with him. They were classes of 1966,1970 and 1974. Congratulations to them all.

I missed the Florida luncheon but heard from Bob Alpert that it was held successfully without me. He also reports that Mert Tarlow is improving. Irv Naitove missed the last mini as he was crossing the Atlantic on the QEII.Taking a lesson from him I am doing the "Med" this summer on the same ship. On a sad note we hear that Bill Borsdorff passed away February 10 in Juno Beach but have no particulars.

Please keep the cards coming and by all means make Hanover the place to be in October for the 65th, a football game and beautiful foliage.
