"I am now a litigation partner at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw," writes Amy (Wilson) Burgert from Houston. "I've been married to David Burgeit for six and a half years and we have a beautiful (although headstrong) 4-year-old daughter, Grace. David is also a trial lawyer, so between work and the 4-year-old our days are pretty well filled. I saw Eric Van Luven a while ago and occasionally run into Andy Edison, son." For those keeping score at home, Eric Van Luven is better known as "Oy."

San Francisco-based broker-dealer and investment bank Merriman Curhan & Ford named Donna Soave a managing director and head of equity research in April. Previously Donna spent eight years with Cisco, where she was most recently the director of thought leadership.

If you found yourself in lovely Bend, Oregon, in May you could've attended Joe Whit worth's presentation at the Deschutes Public Library titled "Water in the American West: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow." Joe, an expert on the Endangered Species Act, water law and public lands law, holds a J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College and is executive director of Oregon Trout. He and wife Liz Appel call Portland home.

Jeff Cole has relocated to Basel, Switzerland, where he is vice president for European sales for Ecos Technologies. San Francisco dwellers Jim Lucier and Colleen Haley (UMass '94) were wed in Woods tock on June s.Look for a more detailed report on the wedding festivities in my next column.
