Summer was clearly as busy for most 90s as it was for me (if the number of submissions for this column is any indication). Nevertheless, we do have some important news to report from our esteemed classmates.
Jonathan Sullivan informs us that baby No. 2 arrived on May 31. Rebecca Joy Sullivan weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and measured 20 inches. She joins brother Timothy Judson as the second potential "legacy" in the Sullivan family.
Andra (Raudseps) Bowditch writes that she and her husband live in Wayland, Massachusetts, with their 5-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. She works part-time as a marketing consultant, and otherwise spends most of her time with her "very labor-intensive children." Andra says she lulls herself to sleep every night by trying to work out the plot line of the novel she's been about to start writing for the past five years. She refuses to divulge any other details of her life for fear of incriminating herself.
Matt Kelley is managing general partner at Zero Stage Capital in Boston. He lives-near the Boston Museum of Science with wife Evana (Holy Cross '9 6) and their 8-month-old dog. He writes: "I saw several alums at the wedding of Mike O'Flynn '91 last summer, including Ed Burley '92. Ed is a film writer/producer/director in Manhattan now. Ed and I struck up a conversation about a goofy idea that I had thought up for a movie while channel surfing several years ago. Although I think Ed at first thought the story was a little nuts, he thought the demographics and money-making potential for the film were promising. We have just finished the project after getting together over the weekends on and off for the last year." If you know any Hollywood producers looking for the next hot script, Matt's your guy.
Miriam (Gross) Schulman lives in Scarsdale, New York, and is an artist and frequent exhibitor in regional juried shows. She has won several awards for her watercolors, pastels and portraits. To find out more about what Miriams been up to, log on at www.miriamschulmanstudio.com.
That's all for this fall. If you have any nuggets of info (or dirt) on any '90s, including yourself, feel free to shoot one of us an e-mail. Finally, as you read this, picture yourself walking across the Green on a brisk October morning...and take a minute to remember how lucky we all are.
