Our newsmakers, like our reporters, are based in snowy New England for this latest column.

Karen Euler writes: "After dating for a few years Ghassan 'Gus' Abusheleih and I got married in June. We live in Bostons South End, commuting on foot to Cambridge and downtown Boston. Gus is Middle Eastern by heritage and grew up in Morocco, and I had many years of French in school, so we live a partially Francophone existence—or at least we make a lot of crepes. We enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains with Kate (Saunders) Grove '89 and her husband, John, this summer."

It seems when Simon Pearce, he of Vermont glass glory, needed some help, he felt compelled to call one of our classmates. Rob Adams was recently named president of Simon Pearce Inc. Before returning to the Upper Valley Rob was the president and CEO of a private equity firm and a management consultant with Deloitte in Chicago. Rob, his wife, Lauren, and their two kids have settled in Norwich, Vermont. Congrats on the homecoming, Rob.

Seth Jacoby has gone from the trenches to the sidelines in leading his hometown Glastonbury (Connecticut) High School football team to another state championship. Nowadays, Seth coaches the Tomahawks' offense; 24 years ago he was under center when they won the title. Now that football season is over Seth is focusing on his day job. He recently lit out on his own and started a solo law practice.

In case you've forgotten, our big 20th (okay, 19 th) reunion is just a couple of months away. Watch your mailboxes for information about registering for the weekend. In the meantime don't hesitate to drop Bill and me a line. We're down to our final couple of columns before the changing of the guard in June.
