Head agent Frank Weber reports that as of March 7; the class had pledged or contributed just under $56,000 or 44 percent of our goal in the 2005 fund. Participation is at 34 percent, toward a goal of 53 percent. Overall, the College participation is 30.2 percent with a goal of 50 percent. Frank notes that with the death of several class members, we have lost their contributions as well as their help in contacting classmates. The burden of contacting members has been evened out among the assistant agents. JohnTrethaway recovered from an early winter illness in time to join a Dartmouth group from the Up- per Valley on askiing trip to Val Gardena. He raved about the nine days spent skiing there and also enjoyed a tour of Berlin on the way home. Ham and Dottie Chase spent a pleasant afternoon in March with Bill and Jean Hallager in Lincoln, New Hampshire, where they spent the winter. A class executive committee meeting was called for April 27 at the Norwich Inn, while our fall mini-reunion is scheduled for the same site on October 21-23 to coincide with Dartmouth night and the Columbia football game. The sympathy of the class is extended to the families of Bernard Relkin, who died on February 8, 2004, and James Lightner, who died on July 14, 2004. Keep in touch.
