Susana Elespuru is living in Lima, Peru. Back in January Susana was part of a small gathering of fellow alums that shared an evening full of Dartmouth memories, laughter and experiences. It was an interesting reflection of Dartmouth through the years, especially seen from an international perspective! Susana and her group will be planning future activities for a group of current Dartmouth students traveling the route of El Che Guevara in The Motorcycle Diaries, including activities in the fall and lectures with Dartmouth visitors in the area.

Word from Mark Siegel, class president: Thanks to great work by Bob Baum, our class projects have been very well received this year. In connection with our ongoing support of Dicks House, we funded flu kits for the undergraduates this year, given the shortage of flu vaccines. I'm told that the kits have been a big hit and have generated some local press coverage. Separately, we have increased our support of Dartmouth Partners in Community Service (DPCS), and will be sponsoring two internships this year. DPCS's mission is "to inspire Dartmouth students to join with Dartmouth alumni and their families in addressing problems facing our society" (dpcs@ dartmouth.edu). It is a worthy cause and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this spring (see separate e-mail). If any of you want to serve as a mentor, please let Bob know (rlb5@hotmail. com).
Liz Epstein Kadin has been appointed to represent our class (and the '78s) on the Alumni Council beginning in June of this year and, as a result, will join our class executive committee.
Hope everyone is having a great summer.
