Amy Cammann Cholnoky and Nancy Parssinen Vespoli are working on a slide show for the reunion. Amy and Nancy are requesting old photos; they are asking classmates for any photos that they may have from our days at Dartmouth. Amy and Nancy hope to have the show running in the background at several locations over the reunion weekend. They would like the pictures on CD in JPEG format, if that is possible. These photos can be mailed to Nancy at 604 West Lake Ave., Guilford, CT 06437. For questions, please e-mail. Nancy at anncy.vespoli@snet.net.

Talked to Harrison Wilson. Harry lives in the Richmond/Hampton Roads, Virginia, area. He is very busy with work and family. Hope to see Harry B. at the 30th reunion.

Bruce York '76 and Gary clohan have each recently finished off a 40-year journey to stand atop all 50 states "Two for the Top: A Tale of 100 Peaks." This story began long before Bruce York and Gary Clohan ever arrived at the Hanover Green and began their Dartmouth careers, for that matter long before they even knew each other existed. However, unbeknownst to them at the time, a couple of carefree holiday trips as children set the stage for a race that took more than 40 years to finish. At first it wasn't a race at all, more of a quest that first Gary and then Bruce embarked upon.

In late January 2007 Corning announced that Peter Volanakis will assume the role of president along with his responsibilities as COO. Peter joined Corning in 1982 as a market development specialist in the company's optical products division. In 1991 he was named director of corporate marketing and was named GM, Europe, for the environmental products division in 1992. In 1995 he became executive vice president of Siecor Corp. (a Siemens-Corning equity venture) and in October 1997 was appointed senior vice president of advanced display products. In January 2001 he became president of Corning Technologies and in April 2005 he was named COO. He was named to the board of directors in December 2000. He also serves on the Dow Corning Corp. board. After Dartmouth Peter later received a master s degree from the Tuck School.

Attended Club Officers Weekend in February, the week of Winter Carnival. Had a wonderful time. Present from our class were Susan Wiley Young, Tom West and Jay MacNamee. Tom is on the board of the Dartmouth Club of Georgia and his daughter Virginia is in the class of 2008. Jay serves as the district enrollment director for the Dartmouth Club of Seacoast, New Hampshire.
