I have lots of news, so I'll get right to it. Tee Lotson was a font of info she wrote: "Cynthia Hall, who attended the Mets game in September with her father and daughters Victoria and Alexandra, is an ob-gyn in private practice in the Windsor/New Haven, Connecticut, area. She specializes in high-risk pregnancies. So all of us '82s still waiting to have our first babies (like me) need to get in touch with her. Jon Edwards bought a wilderness shoe company and moved to Montana with his wife and three kids. Trying to get back to nature I guess. Neville Scott, high-flying marketing executive by day, has maintained his night gig—reggae music star! His band has their new album dropping in Europe any day now. Joe Fernandes, who is in the accounting business, has a son who is a sophomore at UVA and a daughter coming out of high school—where has the time gone?" Tee, I often ask myself that same question.

Craig Bradley will step down as dean of student affairs at Bowdoin College at the end of the current academic year to join the Aga Khan Developement Network in a leadership role as it establishes a system of world-class academies in Africa and Asia. The schools he will help to establish will offer on a need-blind basis, a broad, multidisciplinary education, with an emphasis on the humanities, to young men and women from pre-primary through higher secondary school. Craig has spent the last 10 years at Bowdoin and the announcement that was sent out to the Bowdion community speaks volumes about the impact he had on the college and its students.

Lucent recently announced that John Kritzmacher was named the company's new chief financial officer. John has been Lucent's corporate controller since 2001 and played a critical role in leading the company's financial recovery. As CFO John will be responsible for all of Lucent's financial operations, including corporate accounting, external reporting, financial planning, treasury, tax and investor relations. In addition, he will oversee internal audit, real estate and mergers and acquisitions. In his spare time he plays hockey and rides a Harley. Jon Baker is dealing with his midlife issues by takingup the guitar, which he thinks works better than a speedy vehicle. We'll have to have these two compare notes. Jon works for the EPA in Washington, D.C., and spends his spare time coaching his children's soccer teams when he's not strumming his six-string.

Judi Davidson Wolf has been living in the United Kingdom the last five years, running the training department for a moderate-size outpost of a Department of Defense civilian agency and teaching a number of courses. Her daughter Rebecca is a member of the class of 2010. John Moscarino, Karl Thurmond and Mark Salter are spearheading an effort by a small group of L.A.-area alums to actively find desirable public high school students, including disadvantaged students, and introduce them to the College. Their charter is to find these outstanding students, provide funding so that they can travel from L.A. to Dartmouth for a visit and help recruit them for the College. They are hoping that they can develop a program that can be used as a model in other communities. Eric Fisher runs his own architectural business in Pitts burgh, Pennsylvania, and is an adjunct professor of architecture at Carnegie Mellon University.

I would be remiss if I didn't close out my notes with a reminder about our 25th reunion. Please be sure to block June 14-17,2007, on your calendar and start making your travel plans!
