Lucky for me, Jack Blunt married Mitch Tsuchihashi in Chicago this past August. Jack Blunt works at Morgan Stanley in high-net individual investments. My source tells me the day was perfect and the bride was beyond beautiful. In attendance from the Chicago area were: J.J. Hanley, who lives in the area with her two sons; Scott Simmons; Peter Roberts, who is CEO for Jones Lang LaSalle, a real estate firm; and Bill White, who does private equity investing for Lurie Investments and who, apparently, can carry a tune and saved the lengthy two-verse singing of "Men Of Dartmouth."

Several '82s flew in from Boston, including Doug Cole, a non-practicing doctor who keeps busy doing venture capital; Mark Clayton, who is still at Trammel Crow, a commercial real estate firm; and Lee Apgar, who lives north of Boston, works in investments and spends all of his free time on the island he owns on Lake Winnipesaukee (Vaune Dugan designed his spectacular house).

The Connecticut contingent was as follows: Andy Gaillard, who practices criminal law; Eben Jones, who is still an investment banker in New York; Shaun Rai, who coaches soccer, and Steve Milano, also an investment banker at Lehman Brothers in the Big Apple.

West Coast visitors from the San Francisco area were: Gabe Kind, who is a hand surgeon; Anchie Kuo, who runs a hedge fund, Steve Douty, who is currently involved in a new startup venture; and Jon Merriman and Rob Ford, who both work for Merriman Curhan Ford, an investment banking company. Jon caught the garter at the wedding. Who knows maybe this time next year I will be writing about his wedding?

Texas was also well represented by Lee Sedberry, who lives in Albuquerque and manages his investment properties; Christ Vial, who lives in Dallas and is an attorney for oil and gas concerns and in his spare time coaches a fifth- grade peewee football team that won the cham- pionship last year; and Kent and Sheila Cooper, who were kind enough to gather and share all this wonderful information with me. (Sheila was the lone '82 woman singing "Men of Dartmouth," and therefore vouched for Bill Whites vocal chords.)

Also present were Bill Jarnigan, a cancer surgeon at Sloan Kettering in New York City; Curt Reed, an investment banker also in New York; Jim Komsa, who lives in New Jersey and apparently plays a mean game of paddle tennis, recently winning a tournament there with his wife; Seth Brewster, who lives in Maine and does commercial litigation for a law firm; Mark Soane, who is in venture capital in Denver. Jim Morrison, who works for an insurance company came in from his home in Lexington, Kentucky. Stan Kraska and Steve Shue flew in from Maryland. Steve aspires to be a headmaster of a private school. Stan works at the same firm as Peter Roberts but in Baltimore.

Though 'round the girded world they roam her spell on them remains.
