Salutations, classmates. I hope that spring finds everyone happy and healthy.

I have news this month from Nora Bianchi. I bet she thinks that I forgot her because I spoke to Nora so long ago. The problem was that I had too much news and my column was edited. Sorry, Nora, so finally here it is. Nora and her husband, Marty Hobbs, are living near the beach in Aptos, California (near Santa Cruz). They have adopted two girls from China, Anna Mi (3) and Iris (2). Nora is working about 15 hours a week at a growth restaurant company. Her company is opening their third Aqui restaurant. The restaurants serve a cuisine that is a fusion of Californian, Southwestern and Asian—sounds good to me. Marty is a building contractor. Nora is really enjoying her flexible work time, which enables her to spend a lot of time with her daughters. Nora is in close contact with Lisen Stromberg and Billi Rossi. Lisen and Billi live in Palo Alto with their three children William, Maret and Soren.

Congratulations to Deborah Schupack. She, her husband, Patrick, and their 2-year-old daughter Rosie welcomed Ida to their family in July. Deb and her family live in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Deb is working on her second novel, which is due out in January 2008. I am looking forward to it!

Daniel L. Daniels has been named as one of the top 100 attorneys in the United States serving affluent individuals and families in the December issue of Worth magazine. In addition Daniel was among only four lawyers nationwide chosen by the magazines editors to comment on the latest trends in the law relating to wealthy people. Daniel is the chairman of the 60-lawyer private clients group at Cummings & Lockwood in Stamford, Connecticut, focusing his practice on representing business owners, corporate executives and other wealthy individuals and their families. After Dartmouth Daniel received his law degree from Harvard. He has served on the boards of several charitable and civic organizations and is currently a director of the Fairfield County Community Foundation and a trustee of the Harvard Law School Association of Connecticut. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, with his wife and two children.
