My plea last column paid off and a number of classmates sent me information. Rick Bayless had a lot of news. "I was just up in Hanover for the Cornell game/25th anniversary of the '82 championship football team. Great, great time on the wave of a good win. Chris 'Coggs' Cogguillo, Mike Lena, 'Big Bill' Connolly, Frank Polsinello, Rich Durante, Matty Lopes, Chuck Goss and Mark Pare were among the other '84s who made it back. Everyone looks good except Pos and me.

"I combined the Hanover trip with a tour with my brother John of D.C., where we met up with Ike Schurman for dinner. Ike's doing well. Then for a night we hit N.Y.C., where Gig Faux arranged a Phi Delt dinner outing that included Ed Tolley and Ben Giess. Tremendous evening. Gig's waistline is impressive; his wife Mampta has been feeding him lots of mumu dumplings.

"Big news on my career front: My law firm was recently acquired by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, based in Pennsylvania. (Rooney is the family that owns the Steelers.) It's a huge firm with offices around the country-N.Y.C., Buffalo, Newark, Princeton, Wilmington, D.C., Miami, Tampa, Silicon Valley. I'm excited about the new situation and look forward to visiting with friends in those areas." Thanks, Rick!

I also heard from Dani Klein. She and husband Tod Modisett '94 welcomed Gideon David Modisett on July 20. Dani is still teaching at UCLA and writing.

I was lucky enough to get up to Hanover myself this past fall for the Celebration of 35 Years of Women at Dartmouth. I was very impressed with the number of 1984 women that attended and even more impressed with the number of'84 women who spoke. KarinFinkelstein, Kim Ogden, Anne Arquit Neiderberger, Chrissy Burnley Bucklin and Karen Francis all were panelists at the event.
