We note with sadness the passing of the following three classmates: Paul F. Cover, Gerald W. Hoyt and John H. Field Hi. Our ranks are thinning!
Here are some changes of address that may be useful. Fred B. Clunie, 35 Schooner Road, Apt. 107, Damariscotta, ME 04543. Allon "George" Pierce, 17 Whipple Farm Lane, Falmouth, ME 04105-1898; (207) 781-2305.
Rip Maday reports that his father, our classmate Geoff Maclay, recently received the Aldo Leopold award from the Garden Club of America for "extraordinary service, dedication and commitment in land preservation and responsible stewardship." He notes that his dad continues to be extremely active in land conservation efforts in Wisconsin. Here is some more news of classmates, courtesy of Frank Aldrich. John and Annette Ahearn report they are celebrating their 60th "all this year." They live part of the year in Florida and part in Minnesota, enjoying the best of both worlds. John and Marie Ormond write of the losses they suffered during Katrina. They are slowly getting back on their feet. Apicture of Bob and Marge Paulson shows them to be looking well and happy. (We had a chance to renew old ties when they stayed with us during the 2007 mini-reunion in Hanover.) Bob is expected to chair the reunion committee for our 65th.
