Ben Hartshorn purchased an estate at Rye Centre, N. H., this past summer and moved in or on. He is treasurer of the First National Bank at Portsmouth, N. H.

Ralph Samuel is chairman of the 1941 merged fund-raising campaign for 116 medical and social welfare agencies affiliated with the New York and Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities which starts in October. Ralph is head of the brokerage firm of Ralph Samuel- and Company. He has served- this New York Federation in many capacities and played a big part in building up its Business Men's Council.

Chuck and Barbara Riley spent part of Chuck's vacation in New England in September. They left Phyllis at Mt. Holyoke to start her college course and then spent a week-end with Clayt and Lena Fairbanks, called on the secretary to hasten plans for the Yale game, and then toured to a few New England cities visiting or making semi-business calls.

Merriam '4s—son of Henry Abbot Randall, John H. '4s—son of John A. Randall Waterman, C. Dana Jr. '4s—another of Dana's sons.

Harvey McClary, on September 9th, attended the lowa State meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni in Des Moines, and was the only member of the class present. In fact, he was the only representative of any of the classes when we were in Hanover. He is now going to hunt up Howard Rice and Albert S. Kilbourn.

The George Watts were at Orleans, Mass., as usual this summer, and now back at Davidson College, Davidson, N. C. George says that the nearest they got to Hanover was the top of Mt. Kearsarge and New London, N. H.

Leeds Gulick is in Brookline for the winter and can be reached at 591 Washington St He should become one of the regulars now at the weekly class luncheons at Warmuth's on Mondays, twelve-thirty.

Phil Sauer's son David is at Denison University, graduating in 1943, and if dates do not conflict Phil will be on for our next reunion that year.
