The highlighting of this past year's Alumni Fund Report necessitates, in part, the brevity of this column. As evidenced by the results of the Little Green Derby, the class of 1947 can look forward this coming year to a chance to improve its participation in the 1949 Alumni Fund Drive.

Garvin Bawden Jr. is a salesman, now living in Birmingham, Mich., a suburb of Detroit. Lawrence Callahan is working with The Anstice Co. in Rochester, N. Y. GeorgeDuncan is a claim investigator for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in New York City. Chuck Quinn is a student at St. Rose in Springfield, Ky. Pete Vogt is working in the sales department of the Clement Co. in Buffalo, N. Y. Since March 1947 when Pete left Dartmouth, he has worked with this printing company, progressing through the various departments learning the processes of printing. Fred Frassinelli enjoyed several days at the Hanover Inn a few weeks before Christmas.

Roy and Louise Cahoon are the proud parents of a daughter, born December 10. Dexter Brooks, a second-year Tuck School student, has been awarded the Gulf Fellowship at the Tuck School for the academic year 1948-1949.

On December 3 in Springfield, Mass. ArnoldBoomer and the former Miss Georgia Fish Patterson were married.

Miss Francine Joan Krosschell recently announced her engagement to Michael Pender. Miss Krosschell is attending Boston University. Michael is now a senior at Dartmouth. In Paterson, N. J. Miss Claire Elizabeth Bishop was engaged to Chuck Barton. Miss Bishop is a graduate of Endicott Junior College and Sherwood Secretarial School. Miss Virginia Butler is engaged to Aussie Lohse. Miss Butler is a graduate of the Penn Hall School and the New Jersey College for Women. Aussie is now associated with the Irving Trust Company of New York.
