Glen Duba is living in Epharta, Wash. Fran O'Brien is teaching at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dick O'Haren is a communications engineer in St. Louis, Mo. Mr.and Mrs. Bob Green have recently visited the Hanover Inn.
Connie Crane is the proud father of a daughter, born Cris Elizabeth on the 20th of March, 1949. The former Miss Polly R. Hanson was recently the bride of Lee Alexander. Lee will complete requirements for his masters degree in June from Boston University, School of Public Relations.
Hank Williams is enjoying life in Atlanta, Ga., working as a trainee for the United Mutual Fire Insurance Company. Hank is unmarried and has spent some of the winter in Miami, Fla. as well as visiting the first part of the Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans. Ralph Warburton has been in Milwaukee since last September playing professional hockey. He reports visiting with Bob Albrecht who is "doing well as a dashing young executive with a large retail concern in Milwaukee." Ralph expected to play a few exhibition games in Mexico City in April before taking a job with a traveling ice show.
Doug Burch spent an enjoyable two weeks with his new bride at Woodstock's White Cupboard Inn, "and finally put the lid on the honeymoon at Winter Carnival". Doug is working as a production assistant in the television department of Benton & Bowles, Inc., and living in a small apartment on 50th street in New York City. He expects soon to be a full-fledged director when he has his first show. Doug feels that television is the business to be in. He tells of visiting BobOwens and his wife Muffin in Kew Gardens, L. I. Bob is working in the sales department of the Mcßee Company in New York City, and on the side is taking some accounting courses and doing some research on disc jockeys and their various styles and approaches for a friend of his who's starting a radio station in Oregon. Doug says that O. B.Butler is living in Jackson Heights with his wife and daughter, working at a managerial position with Procter & Gamble; Jim Lynch is living at the Dartmouth Club in New York, looking over business on Wall Street in preparation to entering Maine politics.
Rube and Di Samuels are settled in Englewood, N. J. Ed and Sally Byrkit are wellsituated in Pittsburgh, Pa. Chuck Way and Jack Wagner are doing well, also in Pittsburgh.
Russ Foster is the proud father of a son Stephen, born February 23, 1949. Sam Tassel has his own agency for Bankers National Life Insurance Company in Montclair, N. J. He specializes in life insurance, but sells other insurances also.
Kent White tells a long tale beginning in February, 1944 when he left Dartmouth to take the V-12 test in preparation to entering Northwestern University in the Navy program. In June, 1946 Kent graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and had the choice of becoming an Ensign in the Navy or becoming a civilian. He chose the latter, took an extended vacation in California with an old friend, and is now working for Sears, Roebuck & Company in their retail training program.
Kent tells of having dinner. recently with Bob Motlong who is going to law school in Chicago, and of seeing Jeff Mills and BillMelohn. He further adds that Rog Miller has recently finished at Northwestern.
John Tower, at Medical School in Hanover, speaks of skiing with Dick Mayo, and rooming with Ted Clark, both with him at Med School; seeing about campus Bob Teaze, WesCarr, Jim Winters, Bill Buckingham, and Ham Chase.
Bob Wallis writes from Pensacola, Fla., where he has been for the past six months in the Navy, working for his wings. After graduation, he plans to "serve Uncle Sam in the capacity of Naval Aviator." Bob passes on the news that Manny Benero, Kent Tice, and Keith Robertson are all down in Pensacola with him, working for their wings also.
Bob Widholm, single and living on Long Island while working for Lennen and Mitchell, ]an advertising company in New York City, says that George Welch has been transferred from Bridgeport, Conn, to Cincinnati where he will work for General Electric.
