The February MAGAZINE left an indefinite number of you fellows stranded temporarily in Hanover Sunday, June 11. Looking forward from that date, we have secured additional encouragement to remain longer so that the real opportunity is open for members of the Class to remain on the campus from June 12 to 15 and enjoy four days of Hanover Holiday. Once more Don Cameron comes to the rescue:

"In answer to your questions of January 16th acopy of this leter is going to Mase Ingram for hisinformation as he is all set to handle 20 to 25members of 1904 on your reunion weekend and,in fact, there will be sufficient space for thosewives who plan to attend. I know that the Collegeand Herb Hill who heads up Hanover Holiday, will be pleased to have a number of the Class remain for the Hanover Holiday. This will begin on Monday, the day after Commencement, and extend to the following Thursday. However those classmates planning to remain should be advised that in all probability a new dormitory arrangement would have to be made on Monday. The Holiday group are usually housed in Russell Sage, and it is doubtful if the College will be able to keep more than one dorm in operation for Holiday guests. Therefore a shift of luggage, bags, etc., may well be necessary come Monday morning."

This offering of a week in June on the campus should develop a pattern for an annual family party till '54 or longer, with members of other contemporary classes sitting in as they enjoy their late class reunions.

Educationally we are on the up and up. It's a privilege to announce the appointment of Harry Becket Johnson as Lecturer in courses of eight sessions in Pittsfield and North Adams, on the subject of Investments in Stocks and Bonds. The course is one of the University extension courses of the Massachusetts Department of Education. All persons attending were adults, both men and women, with a class roll of 92 in Pittsfield and 75 in North Adams. Courses will be repeated again this fall in Pittsfield and Great Barrington. Beck says there was resulting enjoyment, education and new business, all of which made it a pleasurable experiment.

Dr. Fred I. Kent, president of the Council of New York University, recently announced that "King" Woodbridge was named to the Advisory Committee of the University's Schools of Business. These include the Graduate School of Business Administration and the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance. King is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bennett Junior College, Millbrook, N. Y.

Lester Gibson retired December 1 after nearly forty years of major road planning and building in California. We shall have more about his accomplishments in a future issue of the MAGAZINE.

A card from Sally and George Scales indicates Mrs. Scales is in improved health.

It's an event to hear from Roscoe Smith, who came from K.U.A. with Beck as roommate freshman year. Roscoe had been to a Dartmouth banquet at Spokane and there saw Mowry Apple Lock-wood. Last summer while cruising around on Puget Sound the Smiths ran across Guy Woodward and his wife who came from Durgin's home town of Lewiston, Maine. This news carries the possibility that Margaret and Roscoe Smith may get back to the campus again—better make it next June.

Already in the South are the Mowers, Rollinses and Rolfes—and the Bartletts were to go South in February.

Now. let's read and enjoy the fine result of Squid's 1949 campaign for the Fund with a memorial contribution at our 45th reunion for every man the Class has lost. We salute the man at the masthead.
