The annual '05 and '06 Boston dinner was held at the Algonquin Club Friday, October 22. The attendance was very disappointing but the quality was excellent. As usual, Harvey had a white carnation for each of us. Our president presided and after the treasurer and secretary had made their reports he called on Cromwell, Besse '05, Lever one, Nourse '05 and Rainie for short talks. Everyone had a good time but we were sorry so many of the regulars were absent.
The '06 men present were Cheney, Connell,Cooke, Cromwell, Denison, Dwyer, Frazier,Ned French, Leverone, Powers, Rainie, Redman, Russell, Wallace, White and HarveyWhittemore.
Joe Nuelle has retired as president of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad and is now chairman of the board.
Henry Thrall writes that he is still able to get around. Visited his daughter in Spokane this summer and is planning to spend next summer in the East.
Thurlow Gordon and I had a very interesting luncheon with Nat Leverone on August 26. Our ex-president sure gets around. A post card from Max Hartmann advises that he has offered up prayers for the Class of 1906 in several mosques in Turkey.
Roy Merchant has retired and is now living in West Falmouth, Mass.
