The arrival of the notice of the William Jewett Tucker Foundation Convocation reminds me of the keen desire that Rufus Day had shown to promote such a movement. How pleased he would have been, could he have seen the consummation of this foundation and the installation of Dean Berthold. You will be glad to know that Roger Brown and Royal Parkinson were planning to attend. My teaching duties, I regret, prevent my attendance.

Through an oversight I failed to credit Solon Cornish with the snapshot which appeared in the October issue. I also have several other good colored snaps of his which I'll try to have on exhibition next July. Many of you remember Solon's daughter, Victoria. She and her family are now living with Solon, His house is being renovated inside and out.

Walter G. Small is planning a three-month visit with his brother in California this winter. Walter is well, but is not strong.

Another of our class to leave for summer skies is "Paene" Moore. With his wife he is returning to his old haunts in McAllen, Texas. Address: 315 So. 11th St.

A report has just arrived that Walter May was in the Concord hospital, suffering from a heart attack. We wish him a speedy recovery.

C. C. Hills seems to think that we might like to ponder on a statement of the late Branch Cabell, to the effect that he was prepared to "sink, cackling thinly, into an amiable senescence." I can't think that C. C. would imply that such a statement could refer to the men of Dartmouth, 1905.

Change of address: Randolph Frothingham, 10 Otis Place, Boston 8, Mass.

You will presumably have received by now a little billet doux from Roger Brown. A prompt response will be most welcome.

Secretary, 358 North Fullerton Ave. Upper Montclair, N. J.

Treasurer, Box 91, Cambridge 40, Mass.
