Cap Pierce has always been interested in music and has written the words and tunes of many songs. This summer he decided that he was old enough to be a conductor so he took charge of the Saturday evening musicals in the rest home where he lives.
Anne Perry, one of our regular reuners has moved to 45 Brookdale Ave., Rochester 19, N. Y., after having spent her entire life in New England. However, before she left she spent the summer visiting in Danvers Mass., Kennebunk, Me., Dover, N. H., and Cape Cod.
Corinne Thrall advises that Henry's favorite grandson, Gillis McLeod Burns, is a sophomore at Dartmouth and is a very good hockey player.

Art and Catherine Chapin visited Joe andCaroline Cushing while roaming around Cape Cod this summer. They didn't say whether the two dogs tried to keep them away, as they did me, but they did comment on the Cushings' delightful summer home.
Harvey Whittemore has discontinued his florist business so no more will we be presented with a beautiful carnation from him at our Boston class dinners.
This summer Fat Pratt was in the hospital for two hernia operations. The doctors must have cut off several pounds of flesh as his weight is now down to 146 lbs.
Paul Hagberg writes that since his retirement he- has kept busy looking after his nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
This past summer Alma Milham was in charge of a book sale put on by the alumnae of five women's colleges. The sale was held in the basement of her home in Hanover and by the time it was over Alma had handled some 8,000 books.
The Class extends its sincerest sympathy to Ruth Smith. In July she broke her hip so when Harold was hurt in an automobile accident and was taken to the hospital she was not able to visit him and neither could she attend his funeral.
