The first of December Lorraine Edgerton flew to Honolulu with her son Bill to visit her other son, Bob. From there Lorraine and Bill flew to Tokyo and Hong Kong and then back to Hanover in time to celebrate Christmas with Halsey.

Norm Russell advises that there are still quite a number of 1906 men who have not paid their dues. As you know most of the money from dues goes to pay for your subscription to the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. Enough said.

Max Hartmann gave up his foreign trip this winter so he could get acquainted with his home and neighbors in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.

Catherine Kelly, who is editor of the Youngtown (Ariz.) Record, was in Amesbury, Mass., in December to attend the ceremony of erecting a memorial stone, denoting Eric's eminence in the literary world.

Gus Ayers died in a Palo Alto hospital on Wednesday, December 6, after a short illness. It was only a few weeks ago that I had a letter from him telling about his retirement plans. 1906 extends its deepest sympathy to Bernice and their children.

As I will be handling freight on the cargo ship, "Aide," in the Mediterranean during January and February Arthur Chapin has agreed to look after the work of the Secretary so send him the news about yourself and family.

The following 1906 men will be a year older in the month of February; Brown, Adriance, Dakin, Ritchie, St. Clair, and Luck.
