Many thanks to Fred Stephens for a fine job as our Class Secretary these past five years. The time and energy he has devoted to the Class certainly deserve our recognition. Our. thanks also to Bob Malin and Butch Edgar for their efforts in publishing "53 Out." Dick Blum is now rested-up from his chores as Reunion Chairman and will take over as editor of the class newsletter. And finally thanks to Class Agent Ed Condit, his staff, and all those 53's who gave so generously to the Alumni Fund. It was the greatest showing of any class in the College. We were at the top of all classes in overall objective with 176%, and also led all classes in the total number of donors with 565.

On the move again with I.B.M. is TomBloomer, this time back to Washington, D.C.; from Rochester. No word from JackPatten, but we hope he made it home from reunion. Jack deserves some kind of award for his courageous roundtrip from his home in Denver. He made the trip with wife and golf clubs - in a Volkswagen!
Sorry there's no more news, but that's all I've got. We're looking forward to another great and exciting football team and hope to see many of you at the games this fall.
