Well, how did everybody make out over Valentine's Day? If I know you old lechers, you all probably chased girls something fierce, sending candy and flowers and gift subscriptions to Jack and Jill. Looks like some of the girls were chasing you recently too. A lotta' you chaps have slowed down considerable since '61. Usta' be that you could get from 105 Dartmouth to Hal's in 27 seconds, now even a bunch of (gasp) . . . girls can catch you. One of our (formally) speediest scatbacks, Lee Heap was overtaken on the 50 and brought to his knees (Ho Ho) on the 40, by young Miss Mary Jean McEwen. We all knew that Mary Jean was one of the other team's key players but who could have known that she would put one of our big scorers on the sidelines? Well, that's the way the pretzel bends. Anyhow, there was a big wedding (victory celebration) and they are living happily ever after in NYC where Lee works for General Electric.

Another star player (this cat could make it from GI to the Nugget in 16 seconds through rugged opposition) bit the dust thanks to the game strategy of Miss Nancy Bullens. The lucky young man was BobJohnson. Bob and Nancy were married last November in Boston. John Zabriskie was on hand to referee.

Several other team members are about to fall too. F'instance, Tom Sawyer and Miss Elizabeth Ann Rauch announced their intention to sign the player draft last December. Since our faithful reporter has not heard of any big player trades out there in New Jersey lately, we can all assume that Miss Rauch is now Mrs. Sawyer and all are living happily as an IBM family.

Gordy Wentworth and Miss Deane Waters are all signed up for the big game to be played soon (the clipping didn't say perzactly when), more of that later. Still another engagement which was scheduled for a trip to church last December was between Miss Karen Hirsch and Dick Joseph.

About all this news this month is about marriages, but that's because all you have to do to get your obedient servant news about a wedding is to be in one and the newspapers take care of the rest. But in order to learn of children, significant business/military accomplishments I have to get a letter from you (or your wife, grandmother, dog or pet goldfish). So let's get with it men; sit down and write me just a short note about your doings. You can deduct the 5¢ from your income tax.
