On July 4, the Hotel Belmont, down on the Cape at West Harwich, Mass., dedicated a flag pole to former Massachusetts Governor Channing Cox. Channing served the Commonwealth as Governor from 1921 to 1925. He has been a summer guest at The Belmont for more than 25 years. Again, in Harwich for the summer, he raised the flag on the newly dedicated flag pole. Pictures taken at the time of the flag raising show Channing surrounded by a smartly uniformed group of Boy Scouts.
The Office of the Alumni Records has received notice of the death of Mrs. Charles R. Chase, at Kent, Ohio. Her husband, Charles R. Chase, died January 27, 1967.
