Since our last encounter, our team has had a rocky time of it, both in Cambridge and in New Haven - Take the attitude of a BOSOX Fan - wait 'til next year? Actually, we have no reason to drop the "dobbers" Dartmouth teams in our time have been a real credit to the school, themselves, and to the demanding alumni.

Blackman has always been able to come up with the unexpected and I for one was proud of the way the team handled themselves against a really exceptional Yale team. Stay with it, Green, we are all with you!!!

About the Harvard Social - Mary and I, along with most of the Classes of '52 and '53 got to know the grass roots people at the Stadium. We were seated behind the goal posts with the Cambridge cops, the Golden-Age Club of Ipswich, the South Boston Historical Society, and the substitute members of the Harvard Band. It really wasn't all that bad, however, we were also next to the portable rest rooms and when the game got a little dull we could listen to the various comments coming from the various cubicles — as the "Krout" says on Monday night "very interesting."

Speaking of interesting people let's report the news. Lee R. Prior has been named original equipment sales manager for the B. F. Goodrich du Brazil, S.A. He will be located at the Brazilian Subsidiary Headquarters in Sao Paulo.

located at the Brazilian Subsidiary Headquarters in Sao Paulo. The Tall Target, Len Hedberg has been named commercial systems administrator in the Commercial Division of the Operations Department for the Pacific Telephone Company.

Gene Brooks, Northeast regional manager for Sylvania Electronics Systems, has been given temporary duty coordinating the efforts of the Massachusetts Bay United Fund campaign. He's looking for $14,000,000. — Good luck, Gene!

Bill Kay has been elected vice chairman of the Pet Foods Institute, the national trade association of pet food manufacturers, after serving as a director of the Institute since 1966. He is the president of Rival Pet Foods in Chicago, a division of Associated Products. Formerly he was vice presidentmarketing and a di rector of Pepperidge Farms, a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Company. He and his family live at 329 South County Line Road in Hinsdale, III.

Doctor Andy Stewart has joined the pediatrics staff of Wing Medical Associates at Wing Memorial Hospital. He's my kind of guy.

Marcel Duvot, president of the Paper Mate Pen Co., Chicago; Ed Speigel, vice president, Spiegel Mail Order Corp., Chicago; and Professor George A. von PeterFfy, Harvard Business School, Boston, have been named to the executive committee of the National Paraplegia Foundation. The organization should be in good hands with the talented men listed above. By the way, Alan Reich is president of this fine organization.

Per usual, I'm running late, so have a fine Thanksgiving, and I'll see you next month.
