Among them, Ellie and Roy Blanchard, Ross Lyon, Dud Bonsai and Lois, Lowell Wormley is bringing Livia, Charlie Townsend, Jack Draper and Mary, Stan Manson and Betty, Jack Andrews and Nancy, Steve Tracy and Dot, Paul Hannah and Betty, Hitch Hitchcock, and Dick Stowe and Kay. Hope this is firmly planted on your schedule.

Reason - daughter and family there. They may take off for Tangier if climate gets too raw. George writes he will look up the London Dartmouth Club, Bob Breyfogle '26, president. The Woelfels chugged to Yale game in their 1949 Mercury sedan "a few more years it will be an antique." Imagine anything with 1949 as a date being classified antique. There ought to be a law!
Meek Slotnik says he will bring Jeannie to the Hanover June doings, votes for "Bedlam— not too much." Les Kilmarx and his wife made the fall reunion, had so much fun, they are early on the list for the June fun fest.
Reg French, professor of romance languages at Amherst, is an authority on historic houses and antiques. He was president of Amherst Historical Society for 17 years and is on Curators Board of Sturbridge College. He recently spoke on "Historic Houses in Amherst" to Amherst Women's Club. Doane says yes on 40th if his daughter Barbara's Vassar commencement doesn't conflict or Doane Jr.'s high school graduation. Our dates are June 12, 13 and 14. Just tell Vassar to shift if necessary, Doane. He did some West Coast sailing this year - crewing on a 65-footer in the Encinada race.

Also, hear that Hale is thoroughly enjoying his research in medical education at Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Further word from Ed Jacobs, who writes that after several years of hard work his "Downeaster" Maine Lobster Dinner and Lobster Pie business is flourishing and is the only enterprise in its area in Maine thus he has great satisfaction in providing employment for a fine group. He and Dot off to Florida until April with maybe a few days in Windward and Leeward Islands.
Thanks to clipping of Greenwich, Conn., "Time" can fill in last months missing data and report that Seth Besse was married in November to Mrs. Robert H. Montross at First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich. Congratulations to the class newly weds.

Washington Valley and Wildcat to ski and do their advertising - which takes precedence he doesn't say. Incidentally, in January "Motor Boating" letters, Donald W. Gardner announces new Yacht Club - "The Ancient and Honorable Wooden Boat Club of America" - for those who have owned a wooden boat over 25 consecutive years —no dues —no meetings —no officers. How about those whose wooden boats are 25 years or more old, Don?

Cal Voorhis with a great newsy Christmas letter of the gay - again bachelor - says that early reports of his demise (coronary) were slightly exaggerated - and picture of Cal in fancy convertible confirms. Cal now teaching at Old Dominion College in Norfolk, Va. - adds "as for. coronaries, as Charles Boyer and Dwight Eisenhower say, 'When you consider the alternative, it isn't so bad.' "
Ruth and Ken Murray spent the holidays in some of those islands in the sun, Caribbean variety - getting tan and trim for the big 40th. Meeting early January with full committee at a New York dinner being thrown for them by Bob Stevens. Much should come out of this for next months report by Coggy Broer, who picks up the pen while Marion and I run for a plane. Forty years ago, I got a job with IBM pending finding just what I wanted to do. Still wondering, but get a sabbatical for hanging around. Will look for 27'ers in Africa, Egypt, Spain, and way stations and report to you when we meet in Hanover.
