While we are in the midst of the football season, why not take a chance to talk about the reunion when you see classmates at the games. An early glimpse of the reunion shows registration about noon on Friday and a brunch about noon on Sunday. For the 48 hours in between: discussions of Dartmouth, Alumni Dinner, Glee Club, concerts, play, Alumni Dance, tent gatherings, picnics, tours of the Campus (a lot has happened in 15 years), class banquet, cocktail party, and yes, there will still be time for shopping, golf, tennis or whatever.... Now is the time to be starting your plans.

Bob Eigen, who established his own real estate firm in 1968, has merged with Hoffman Associates. Inc. to form the Eigen Hoffman Corporation. The new firm will specialize in real estate financing for ma- jor public corporations. Bob was named president of Eigen-Hoffman and will also serve as a vice president of the Hoffman firm. It has been just over ten years since Bob earned an MBA from Tuck. He and his wife Joan live at 1 Old Lyme Road in Scarsdale, and have two children, Wendy and David.

In New York City Aaron Daniels has been named general sales manager of WPAT Radio Station. Aaron joined WPAT, a division of Capital Cities Broadcasting Corporation in 1963. In February, 1969, he became advertising director of the Fairchild Group, another Capital Cities Division. As mentioned in an earlier column, Aaron represented the United States as a member of the ten-man frontennis team that competed in the Olympics at Mexico City.

Gordon Bjork, president of Linfield College, McMinnville, Ore., is the new chairman of the Oregon Independent Colleges Association, replacing Dr. Victor Rosenblum, former president of Reed College, who resigned as chairman of OICA in June of this year. Gordon has been president of Linfield College since 1968.

From Minneapolis, Minn., comes word that Phil Byers has been named investment division manager for the diversified Minneapolis-based Apache Corp. He joined Apache in 1966 as marketing supervisor in the investment division. In 1968, he was named investment administration manager. Prior to joining Apache, Phil was an exploration planning analyst for Mobil Oil Company. He received a M.S. degree in Geology from the University of Kansas in 1959 and later went back to Tuck School where he received a M.B.A. degree in 1966. As manager of Apache's Investment Division, Phil will be responsible for oil and gas investment program administration. He is treasurer of the Creston Hills Home Owners Association and lives in Edina, Minn., with his wife Carolyn, and two children.

Jottings: Pete Kirwin has left Tucson, Ariz., and the United States and is now in Belrose, NSW, Australia. How about a word from down under, Pete? Dave Sandborg is an attorney with Bronson, Bronson, & McKinnon in San Francisco.

It is with regret that I inform the Class of the death of Gerald SokoXec, truly a loyal classmate. Gerry passed away on August 25, 1970 just before his 35th birthday and after a long illness, lasting over 3½ years. During this time he showed extreme courage and dignity. He was active in sales and management as vice president of Wilmar Printing Corporation in Chicago for over eleven years. He continued his loyalty to Dartmouth and the Class by serving as midwest class agent chairman and as recruiting and interviewing chairman of high school applicants to Dartmouth from Chicago's south side and southern suburbs.

The Class extends sincere sympathy to Gerry's parents, and to his brothers Ronald and twin Cary, also a member of the class.
