Greetings from the first column written in 1974. We hope it will be a banner year for all of you.

First off. Father Jim Malley, S.J., has come to Washington as an associate chaplain of the Georgetown University Law Center. Jim, who is also a 1948 graduate of Harvard Law School, also' served in the Navy in World War II and spent five years in active law practice before joining the Jesuits in 1957. After being ordained out of Woodstock College in Maryland, he has spent a majority of his ministerial work in the urban slums of northeast Brazil and Mexico. We welcome him back to the rather mundane life of Washington.

Tom Morgan writes that he moved to France in April of 1972 and has been working in Paris. He and his wife Lottie live at 38 Blvd. Maillot, 92 - Neuilly, France. As to their children, Bruce (18) attends American School of Paris, Lorenzo (14) St. Charles French School, Manuela (11) St. Domique French School, and all live with Tom and Lottie in Paris. Som Tom 111 (20) is a sophomore at Georgetown University here in Washington.

Staying overseas, J. Clark Moore Jr. (101 Route de Florissant, 1211 Conches, Geneva, Switzerland) writes that he and Ron MUrphy ’55 are organizing a Dartmouth Club of Geneva (see the Club Section of this issue of the Alumni Magazine for more details).

Back home, Don Reich has been elected a senior vice president of Airco, Inc. in Montvale, N.J. Don, who will continue as Airco's top financial officer will also be responsible for carbon-graphite, medical products, electronics and carbide divisional operations. That should give him something to do with his spare time!

Carte Blanche, international travel organization based in Los Angeles, has elected Jerry Souers vice president marketing. He will be responsible for marketing of the corporation's credit card the merchandise and insurance direct programs, and the publication of the Carte Blanche magazine. Jerry's previous positions have been as director of advertising for Mattel. Inc. and in marketing management for General Mills

News down from Hanover way is that the snows have finally arrived and that the temperature is 22° below zero or 54° of frost as the British are wont to say - shades of December '42. Maybe someone would like to do a movie entitled "The Winter of '42."
